Position Title: Sr Project Manager - Retail - AI/Machine Learning

In the role of Sr. Project Manager, we are looking for someone who is committed to excellence in project execution and passionate about putting our customers first.

This position will be leading projects around our (AI/Machine Learning) Retail solutions. Our ideal candidate will be able to work independently and will be responsible for leading projects on time and within budget, while meeting our customers’ objectives. He or she will need to demonstrate the ability to grasp machine learning concepts and be able to succinctly explain them to customers.


• Lead a project team in all aspect of the execution of projects.

• Help validate and produce appropriate baseline project plans and templates

• Work with appropriate parties to plan project resource requirements

• Assess project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge

• Ensure project team adheres to JDA policies, procedures, methodologies and quality standards

• Manages project quality to ensure customer satisfaction

• Provide regular project communication and status reporting

• Record and reports on billable time to customer

• Drive to obtain resolution of customer project issues, escalating to appropriate parties as needed

• Ensure that projects deliver the value/ROI sold with the engagement

• Collaborate with appropriate JDA resources on customer's business, organization and culture to strengthen their credibility as trusted advisors

• Provide guidance, feedback, coaching, and developmental experiences to project team members

• Effectively identify and close additional software and service opportunities within your client base

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years’ experience managing Software projects

• Extensive travel required (80%)

• PMP certification preferred and knowledgeable in project management best practices

• Experience in data analysis and statistics

• Demonstrated ability to grasp machine learning concepts and be able to succinctly explain them to customers

• Experience working in Retail organizations

• Hands-on experience with Workforce Management and/or Demand & Fulfillment solutions is a plus

• Demonstrated leadership experience in consulting, implementation or development projects.

• Demonstrated experience presenting and interfacing with C-Level Executives

• Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic

• Skilled at leading and coordinating across diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.

• Ability to resolve complex problems with little guidance

• Capable of facilitating (design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc.)

• Highly developed organizational skills, with proven track record of exceptional follow-through

• Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor, coach and train

• Well organized and consistently meets commitments
